Wednesday Raid

Hey if the server ever do come back up for time to raid and stay up just goin gto let you know i am going to be Mia, got called in to sub for the bowling team.

And for those who didnt know the servers have gone down 3 times since the hotfix today. SO be cafeful and have fun playing if you get on.

Guild coin: How it can help you!

Guild coin is mainly used for the guild hall, repairs, etc. But, there are a few ways it is available to the members as well.

1) Read the raid discussion thread on myths.

2) Masters. If there is a crucial master you just cannot afford, send a forum PM to Animia. This service is available to raider rank and above. Crucial masters are IE: The off tank's defensive stance, the healers main heal. Until we have more coin coming in, this service will be very limited. Do not feel bad if your request is denied.

3) Guild contests. Keep an eye on this forum section for details on the contests coming soon.

Hello and welcome to the mad house.

We are a bit more laid back than a lot of raiding guilds out there, but we still have an application process.

please answer the following questions

1. Character name, Class, level and AA's
2. Mythical or fabled
3. Access to VP?
4. Previous raid guilds.
5. Raid times and availability.
6. Age?
7. Are you ready to partay?

[b]Guild Creator Special Status[/b]

The guild creator is automatically added to the guild and cannot have any rights taken away nor can the guild admin be deleted from the guild.

[size=18]Configuring Recruiting Options[/size]

Your guild site is ready already for members to join and get guild site access. However, you may want to configure your guild application by going to the Admin -> Members tab and then clicking on the "Guild Application" link on the left side of the page and following the instructions there.

[size=18]Having Members Join your Guild Site[/size]

This process it the same for members already in your guild in-game and for new members who would like to apply. Regardless of whether a user is a member in-game already or if they are applying to your guild via your site, every member must create a Guild Launch account and submit the guild application. The Guild Application is what allows you to approve them for member level access to the site.

[b]There are two ways a user can join your guild.[/b]

1. Using a Launch Code
2. The application process

The Launch Code allows the user to be added to the guild and bypass the 'acceptance' step in the application process.

[b]Existing Members[/b]

The best way to get existing members into your guild is to use a Launch Code.

A Launch Code is a password that allows an applicant to skip the application process and automatically join the guild. If the user does not use a launch code their application will have to be approved by a guild admin.

[b]New Members[/b]

New members can use a launch code, if you give it to them, or they can go through the application process. If they go through the application process then their membership will have to be approved
by a guild admin.

The full process to get someone into the guild through the application process is:

1. Go to your guildsite URL. That is the URL in the browser window starting with "http://".
2. Click the "Apply to Guild" link on the left side.
3. Follow the Wizard and follow it's instructions.

[b]How to Set Your Launch Code[/b]

Click on "Admin" at the top right of the screen. Then Click on the "Members" tab, then click on "Recruiting Status" from the left side navigation. Your guild's unique Launch Code can be set on that screen.

[size=18]Guild Announcements[/size]

The very first post on your homepage is a guild announcement, a unique feature of Guild Launch which allows you to make posts in your forums and have them appear on your homepage. You can edit the announcement settings by clicking on the admin link in the upper right corner and navigating to the COMMUNICATION Tab.

Once there you can turn this feature off or change the number of posts to show, set a date range, etc. If you would like to just remove this post you can get to it by going to the "News" forum or clicking the "(View Post)" link. Once you are at the post you can delete this post outright, or you can choose to make it a regular post as opposed to an announcement.

[size=18]How to Change Templates[/size]

We hope you like our default template, but many guilds want their own identitiy. If you would like to change your template go to the admin area from the top right and then click on CONTENT OPTIONS then click on "Change Site Template" on the left navigation. A page will load with a dropdown that lets you browse the available templates. When you see one that you like click "Set" and that will become your guild's template.

[size=18]Forums[/size]

We have created the following forums for you as a starting point:

[b]News[/b]

Where the first announcement post is posted. An admin can delete or modify this post or add new ones.

[b]Member Discsussion[/b]

This a forum that only guild members can post in.

[b]Officer Discussion[/b]

This is a forum that only members of the "Officers" security group can post in. When a new guild is created the only member of the officer group (and the only member of the guild in fact) is the guild creator.
